here's the spread i'm putting together. graze all evening, go back for seconds, take a plate out to the porch.

  • hawaiian roll sandwich platter

    little soft slider sandwiches, stacked high and impossible to eat just one of.

  • pasta salad

    the cold, herby kind that somehow tastes even better as the evening goes on.

  • cheese board

    a wandering spread of cheeses, crackers, and whatever fruit looked good this week.

  • desserts

    brought out when the light gets low. probably more than one. no one is counting.

  • cocktails & drinks

    something cold and a little fancy, plus sparkling water and lemonade for the kids.

what to bring? just you.

  • just yourself, honestly
  • the kids (they're welcome!)
  • a favorite card game for the kids
  • a drink if you've got a favorite

the food's covered, so there's no pressure to carry a thing. if you want to add to the table, a favorite drink or a sweet always finds a home. mostly, just show up.
